How to fail in life?

Hmmm.... a very loser sort of topic for a blog post but still let me give it a shot.

Suppose we have a locked door and we are told that there is a beautiful view behind that door.
Now all of us want to enjoy the vista but we have to go through that locked door.
In order to enjoy the view ...
We should first find the key and once we do that... we can be HAPPY about it.

Simple common sense stuff....get the key and enjoy the view.
..but what has door, key and view have to do with "Failing in Life" (blog title)??

Quite early in our pedagogy we are told that
"Failure is the key to Success"

but..
never do i remember someone teaching me about the modus operandi to fail in life.
never do i remember any lecture titled "How to fail in life?"

I was only told to Succeed in life....but Success is the view behind the locked door.
What about the key?
It was as if the door should open but don't ever try to find the key.

Have i tried to find my keys?
If  i am not finding the keys often... may be i am compromising on the view.

I think i should try a lot more to find my keys and just feel HAPPY about it.

the point is did you get the "right key"
if one finds the right key then one succeed in opening the door to the desired success, but even ones failure to find the "right key" will be a success, whereby one get to know where not to look for it.
so in both cases one succeed. the important thing is knowing the existence of such a key. one can only attempt to look for it when one realise that success can not be unlocked unless one starts looking for it (the key).
any attempt will give you a key, it may not be opening the desired door but it surely is a key to some other door.
so dont sit idle, keep looking...

@Neeraj - Vary true bhaiya...This blog came up after i was discussing with one of my friends that all of us know the loop holes in the edy system. How will i make it different for my child?

I think if i can teach him how to fail?REst everything will fall into place.
WE are very bad losers....
We don't know what to do when we lose.
WE are out of options if we don't make it to the desired place.

If a person can handle the failure with equinamity ,i think bigger success's will follow.

I would surely ask my child to come last in class and then see how does he react, becuase the way he handles this result will decide how far he succeeds in life.

We have to learn to fail,we have to learn that failing is not a big deal.

It's ok to fail in a cause worthy of chasing and when that happens we will find ourselves on roads less traveled by and thats when we'll see the most beautiful of Vistas.

you cant teach any one to loose or win.... can you?.... can anyone?
loosing and winning makes it sound like a race.....a race for what, if it is?
let it be the "key" as stated in the blog. i only wanted to stress that one should not give up the search, even if you are opening the doors other than desired. these "keys" and "doors" are also teaching something, but to learn is up to us. life is a big teacher itself, it depends what are we learning or are we learning at all. so i think teaching to fail again sounds as you are knocking the wrong door, try to teach him how to be a "good learner" instead.

You might never fail on the scale I did, but some failure in life is
inevitable. It is impossible to live without failing at something,
unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at
all – in which case, you fail by default.
